I have good news I want to share with you…Capsun’s Corner is now listed on Alltop.com! I am listed under their Hawaii category.
So what’s the big deal? Well, basically they are a news aggregation site. But, let me tell you more about them. Here’s how Alltop describes themselves:
an “online magazine rack” of popular topics. We update the stories every hour. Pick a topic by searching, news category, or name, and we’ll deliver it to you 24 x 7. All the topics, all the time.
I have known about Alltop for several months and have used it the past. But what really got me to know it well and use it heavily was PodCamp Hawaii. And it does help that their Chief Evangelist, Neenz, is everywhere and always promoting Alltop! She really does fulfill the evangelist part of her job duties.
is so easy to use. Just go to their site and just like at a magazine rack, pick (or in this case, click) the topic you want to peruse, then pursue it. But here’s how to really have fun, at least this is how I do it: just type in a topic and append “.alltop.com” to it. So, Hawaii is there under hawaii.alltop.com.
Here are some topics I found just by randomly typing them in:
- http://twitter.alltop.com/ For those of us, like yours truly, who are addicted to social media.
- http://mac.alltop.com/ For all things Mac.
- http://starwars.alltop.com/ Funny, startrek.alltop.com isn’t up, but just give it time.
- http://tv.alltop.com/ Who doesn’t love some good TV?
- http://moms.alltop.com/ You know, for all the mama’s boys out there.
- http://sharepoint.alltop.com/ For the really geeky, SharePoint – enough said.

I’m planning to do some minor tweaking this week, so if I can figure it out, I’ll put it on. You know who I’ll be contacting if I can’t though, right?
I also like how you renamed meta to Capsun’s Controls. That’s pretty funny.
