I played puka-shell tour guide to a Fellow PUBA Lander and watched various tourii hopping the walls at the lookouts. One decided to chase a chicken around the lava rock outcroppings. I thought, “Young man, is that really the story you want told when people ask how you died?”

FPL asked why they did that. I shrugged, “Americans, we are STRONG and can CONQUER NATURE!”
