Good News for Hawaiian Airlines Passengers

December 1, 2009 · 2 comments

This is my make-up post to Hawaiian Airlines, for not blogging about their 80th birthday, which they celebrated on November 11. Belated Happy Birthday!

For those who fly between the islands and who choose not to support that bad airline I despise so much, I have some good news from my favorite airline, Hawaiian Airlines. Remember Suite 737 or the Alii Club, Aloha Airlines old lounge? Well, Hawaiian Airlines has just announced that they will be taking over that space, adding a second Premier Club lounge.

Hawaiian Airlines invites you to relax in a second Premier Club lounge at the Honolulu International Airport.

Location: Terminal 2 – 2nd Floor, inside the secured area near gate 56 (formerly the Aloha Airlines Alii lounge) There will be temporary canned beverage service until equipment can be installed and WiFi will be available at a later date.

You now have two lounge locations to choose from while waiting to board your flight in Honolulu:

Terminal 2 – 3rd Floor • Hours of Operation: 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., daily • Located closer to the Wiki Wiki shuttle stop for transportation to Terminal 1 • WiFi access available

Terminal 2 – 2nd Floor • Hours of Operation: 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., daily • Located closer to makai gates in Terminal 2 • WiFi access coming soon The choice is yours. Thank you for flying Hawaiian Airlines.

Mahalo!

Amoeba will be happy to hear this! I think the next time I fly Hawaiian it will be to leave the island on my last day as a resident. I go with extremely mixed feelings. I am happy to go home, but Hawaii has become my home, too, and I can't take it with me.

Hawaiian Airlines is the bomb!!! Good for them. Go home go!
